Volunteers Needed for Hall Maintenance & Facilities
Location: The Lonach Hall, Strathdon
Organisation: The Lonach Hall Community Association
Type: Volunteer role (ideally part of a volunteer pool for maintenance tasks)
The Lonach Hall is a much-loved community venue at the heart of Strathdon, hosting local events, meetings, classes, and celebrations. We are looking for reliable and practical volunteers to help manage and carry out general maintenance and facilities tasks. Ideally, we would like to build up a group of volunteers to share the maintenance activities.
What we need help with:
We’re looking for a few practical, hands-on people who enjoy fixing the odd thing and bring a good, common-sense approach to keeping our community hall in good shape. The role is flexible and can be shared, suited to people who are happy to take the initiative and work independently, while keeping in touch and coordinating with the Hall Committee. Experience in maintenance or trades is welcome but not essential — a willingness to help is what matters most.

What we think you will get from volunteering:
Keeping The Hall safe and welcoming provides a chance to make a real difference to your local community and you will get support from a friendly volunteer committee and other volunteers. You will receive appreciation and the satisfaction of keeping a vital community space running.
Join our friendly team and help care for our community hall!
If you’re interested or would like an informal chat about the role, please contact The Lonach Hall Community Association via Lonach.Hall@hotmail.com
